From one to another.

Anastasia Gordinschi founded the association after being inspired by her work organizing The International Ankara Puppet Theater Festival in Turkey for KUKSADER and Theater Tempo. The festival showcased children's, youth, and adult plays, as well as exhibitions and workshops from around the world, attracting a diverse audience, including university students and young people. The festival's aim was to promote cultural exchange by introducing the artistic richness of different cultures to a wider audience and bringing art and artists together.

Celebrating its 8th anniversary in October 2022, the festival received funding from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and support from sponsors, institutions, and embassies of countries such as Austria, Israel, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Moldova, Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Ukraine, and Taiwan. As a result of these collaborations, Theater Tempo collaborated on award-winning projects with the Goethe Institut, the Dutch Embassy, and the French Cultural Centre. Gordinschi was impressed by the festival's performances and decided to bring the same concept to Canada to provide Canadians with a similar experience.

Motif is a testament to our unwavering belief in creativity and art. We invite you to join us on this remarkable expedition, as we together rekindle the artistic spirit, celebrate the wonders of creativity.
